Reproductive-aged Women Veterans are the fastest-growing VA population. One-third of surveyed pregnant Veterans reported problems accessing timely early pregnancy care (Mattocks 2019). For VA Gynecologists and the interprofessional healthcare team, caring for Veterans who have not yet established care with a community obstetrician presents a distinct challenge. In this recorded, knowledge-based webinar, we will discuss updates in early pregnancy management, share challenges that arise when providing this care in the VA, and explore early pregnancy care models in varied VA settings. This training is appropriate for interprofessional healthcare teams.
