The goal of this program is to improve rehabilitation in patients with head and neck cancer and management of diseases related to laryngology through innovative techniques. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Summarize the importance of adequate rehabilitation strategies for patients with head and neck cancer. 2. Develop strategies to improve quality of life of patients with head and neck cancer. 3. Treat neurogenic cough through novel methods. 4. Evaluate trigger point injections as a possible approach for managing hyoid bone syndrome. 5. Manage symptoms and comorbid conditions of patients with retrograde cricopharyngeal muscle dysfunction.
