The goal of this program is to improve management of headache in children and hyperlipidemia in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Diagnose headache in pediatric patients, including pediatric migraine.
2. Explain the pathophysiology of migraine.
3. Use nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic methods to treat headache in pediatric patients.
4. Screen children for hyperlipidemia according to guidelines.
5. Manage hyperlipidemia with age-appropriate medications.
