With this in mind, the FMA has collaborated with a variety of experts to develop a series of online courses intended to support the leadership skills of Florida physicians. This particular module presented by an expert in conflict management addresses the role of culture in the success (or lack of success) in organizations and highlights strategies that leaders can use to identify the root causes of discord and change them. This course will guide learners through a set of questions that can be used to determine the culture of an organization, as well as an active problem-solving tactic that can be employed to manage conflict and achieve a more positive culture.
