The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis of congen ital sensorineural hearing loss and management of dysphonia. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Perform an appropriate workup for hearing loss. 2. Assess the advantages of magnetic resonance imaging over computed tomography for evaluating candidates for cochlear implants. 3. Characterize the different aspects of enlarged vestibular aqueduct as a common bone abnormality in individuals with hearing loss. 4.
