The goal of this program is to improve management of uveitis, herpetic keratouveitis, and uveitic glaucoma. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Perform a diagnostic workup of patients presenting with signs of uveitis. 2. Select appropriate laboratory tests to identify the cause of uveitis. 3. Cite risk factors for development of herpetic keratitis and herpes zoster ophthalmicus. 4. Identify common features of herpetic keratitis. 5. Develop surgical and nonsurgical treatment strategies for uveitic glaucoma.
