After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Assess the potential benefits of comprehensive geriatric assessments. 2. Implement strategies that are show benefit for reducing risk for dementia or minimizing associated symptoms. 3. Evaluate the efficacy of strategies for preventing falls in older adults. 4. Choose evidence-based therapies for patients who have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. 5. Counsel patients who have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction about the potential benefits of cardiac rehabilitation.
