Highlights From University of Chicago Annual Practice Updates in Hematology and Oncology

The goal of this program is to provide updates on the management of melanoma, colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer, and metastatic breast cancer. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Select evolving neoadjuvant therapies for resectable, high-risk melanoma. 2. Choose immunotherapy rather than chemotherapy for treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. 3. Use circulating tumor DNA for the management of colon cancer. 4. Recognize the potential of kidney injury molecule-1 as a key marker in renal cell carcinoma. 5. Determine whether a patient with advanced breast cancer is likely to respond to fulvestrant.
