The goal of this program is to improve management of patients seeking gender-affirming care and management of patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Advise patients on the course and outcome of hormone therapy.
2. Choose the appropriate drug, route of administration, and dosage to minimize adverse effects of hormone therapy.
3. Use the apnea-hypopnea index to match patients with OSA with appropriate treatment options.
