The goal of this program is to improve management of HIV infection in pregnancy and reproductive health in people with HIV. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. List barriers to use of long-acting injectable (LAI) antiret-roviral therapy.
2. Differentiate between administration of LAI cabotegravir plus rilpivirine (CAB-RPV-LA) every 8 wk vs every 4 wk.
3. Cite risk factors for resistance with use of CAB-RPV-LA.
4. Contrast tenofovir alafenamide with tenofovir disoproxil in pregnancy.
5. Summarize findings from IMPAACT 1026 regarding pharmacokinetics of HIV medications.
