Infectious scleritis is an inflammatory process of the sclera due to a microbial agent. In order to avoid the risk of enucleation or evisceration due to this condition, it must be promptly diagnosed and treated. This activity reviews the evaluation and treatment of infectious scleritis and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in managing care for patients suffering from this condition.
