This panel will discuss recent innovations in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. The main topics covered will include apps and wearable devices for tracking sleep, advances in hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy, and the impact of sleep and psychiatric comorbidities in hypoglossal nerve stimulation outcomes. Our panelists will review the ever-expanding list of wearables and apps for tracking sleep apnea and will discuss how these devices may be used to track and optimize outcomes post-sleep surgery. Panelists will also discuss recent advances in appropriately selecting and counseling patients prior to hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy as well as innovations in hypoglossal nerve stimulation technology and surgical technique.
