The goal of this program is to improve assessment and management of insomnia in children and adolescents and limping in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Differentiate between the various types of insomnia presenting in children and adolescents.
2. Recommend lifestyle and bedtime routine changes to improve insomnia in children.
3. Identify pathophysiologic causes of childhood and adolescent insomnia.
4. Select appropriate diagnostic testing modalities for a limping child.
5. Evaluate a limping child for other hip pathologies.
