The goal of this program is to improve diagnosis of intraocular malignancy using cytopathology, management of ocular trauma, and management of uveitis in the setting of psoriatic disease. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Cite the clinical utility and pitfalls of common cytopathology tests used for intraocular pathology. 2. Develop strategies to maximize the yield of intraocular speci mens for cytopathology tests. 3. Manage patients with traumatic ocular injury. 4. Evaluate patients presenting with uveitis for signs of plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. 5. Identify risk factors for progression to psoriatic arthritis and uveitis.
