The goal of this program is to improve use of ketamine, management of orthopedic injury infection, treatment of enterocutaneous fistula, and patient outcomes through promotion of entrustable professional activities (EPAs). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Administer ketamine safely and effectively in the emergency department. 2. Differentiate among antibiotic delivery systems. 3. Explain maximal medical therapy in management of enterocutaneous fistulas. 4. Test hand-grip strength in patients who are being prepared for enterocutaneous fistula repair. 5. List factors that affect entrustment in medical trainees.
