Leriche Syndrome also commonly referred to as aortoiliac occlusive disease, is caused by severe atherosclerosis affecting the distal abdominal aorta, iliac arteries, and femoro-popliteal vessels. Leriche Syndrome presents with a triad of claudication, impotence, and absence of femoral pulses. This activity reviews the evaluation and treatment of Leriche syndrome and the role of the interprofessional team in evaluating and treating this condition.
