The goal of this program is to improve treatment of lower extremity trauma, classification of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), and diagnosis and management of NETs. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare management and outcomes in patients with severe lower limb injuries undergoing limb salvage vs amputation. 2. Incorporate new guidelines in the classification of neuroendocrine tumors. 3. Assess somatostatin receptor expression in NETs. 4. Utilize DOTATATE positron emission tomography to determine candidacy for therapy for NETs. 5.
