The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and management of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease and the treatment of chronic liver disease in women. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Optimize use of vibration-controlled transient elastography in assessment of liver stiffness. 2. Use the Fibrosis-4 Index for Liver Fibrosis in liver disease. 3. Compare counseling for alcohol use disorder in women with that in men. 4. Distinguish the Model for End-stage Liver Disease (MELD) 3.0 in liver disease from the original MELD. 5. Outline the strategies for managing hepatitis B infection during pregnancy.
