Continuing education is needed to provide guidance for clinicians regarding the many challenges in the treatment of AF. For the purposes of this initiative, education will focus on four distinct topics in AF management; including, the evolving role of early rhythm control, optimizing anticoagulation for stroke prevention with balanced bleed risk, improving awareness and understanding of non-pharmacologic alternatives to anticoagulation, and identifying when triple therapy is indicated and for how long.
