The Avera Research Institute Maternal American Indian and Rural Community Health (MARCH) Center of Excellence provides a platform for researchers, tribal nations, rural communities, and key stakeholders to engage in bidirectional communication on maternal health, in particular drivers of mortality and severe morbidity. This Live session is designed to bring maternal healthcare professionals together to work collaboratively towards enhancing knowledge and skills for investigators and community partners to conduct research and improve health care for women. Last year, the MARCH Summit laid the groundwork for what maternal morbidity and mortality looked like in South Dakota. This year, the MARCH Summit will highlight research, programs and resources that support maternal health.
