This program will provide an overview of all aspects of cardiovascular medicine with an update on the latest knowledge and advances in cardiovascular medicine. Special attention will be given to the core competencies needed for the nurse practitioner and physician assistant providers to offer comprehensive cardiovascular care. Topic modules will include cardiac exam and symptom analysis, multimodality imaging and cardiac testing, cardiovascular disease prevention, ECG interpretation, electrophysiology, pericardial disease, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and adult congenital heart disease. An additional specialty module on cardiology critical care will be offered as an add-on purchase to the course. The video content will provide a valuable update and knowledge improving comprehension and outcomes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiovascular disease.
