The goal of this program is to improve the medical management of alcohol use disorders. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Use naltrexone in patients with alcohol use disorder. 2. Explain the mechanism of action of disulfiram in management of alcohol use disorder. 3. Manage alcohol withdrawal symptoms in patients in the outpatient setting.
