MENOPAUSE/TECHNOLOGY OF STROKE MANAGEMENT

The goal of this program is to improve management of symptoms related to menopause and management of stroke using recent advances in technology. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Develop strategies to manage common symptoms associated with menopause.
2. Perform a diagnostic workup to rule out conditions that present with menopause-like symptoms.
3. Counsel patients on pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies to improve genitourinary and sexual health during perimenopause and menopause.
4. Use innovative technologies to treat stroke.
5. Identify patients with stroke who are most likely to have a good neurologic outcome.
