The goal of this program is to increase the contribution of urologic care to men’s overall health and improve management of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Provide treatment options for erectile dysfunction that are asso¬ciated with high rates of patient satisfaction.
2. Appropriately evaluate patients who have positive cytology and negative cystoscopy.
3. Determine whether cystectomy can be reasonably deferred in a patient with NMIBC.
4. Choose an appropriate surveillance interval for patients with intermediate-risk NMIBC.
5. Consider use of novel therapies for patients with NMIBC.
