The goal of this program is to improve surgical management of glaucoma, management of coexisting glaucoma and corneal pathology, and management of common ophthalmic issues in patients with diabetes. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Evaluate various approaches for minimally invasive glau coma surgery (MIGS) procedures. 2. Select patients who are most likely to benefit from MIGS. 3. Identify corneal features that increase risk for glaucoma. 4. Prescribe treatment options for glaucoma that optimize corneal health. 5. Modify care for patients with diabetes who are undergoing cataract surgery or receiving glaucoma treatment.
