PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This course will offer the author’s experience with over 20 years of performing Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Pituitary Surgery. Participants will be provided with practical step by step technique, tips and tricks to achieve optimal outcomes, as well as a succinct description highlighting the role of the otolaryngologist in pituitary surgery. Expected outcomes and complication management, including CSF leaks, will be discussed.OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: To describe the critical anatomy necessary to know for minimally invasive pituitary surgeryOUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: To provide tips and tricks in order to optimize outcomes in minimally invasive pituitary surgeryOUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: To review team-building, advantages, and expected outcomes of endoscopic pituitary surgeryBACKGROUND STATEMENT: This will provide the author’s experience and evolution in the development of endoscopic pituitary surgery over nearly 25 years of performing it.
