MVP Project: Disability Education for Frontline Healthcare Workers

MVP Project: Disability Education for Frontline Healthcare Workers

Lack of understanding of how to effectively communicate and engage people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) can lead to their poorer health experiences and outcomes. This educational training will teach health practitioners how to make healthcare experiences more accessible for people with I/DD. This training incorporates interviews with people with disabilities and parents sharing insightful advice on improving their healthcare experiences.
