The goal of this program is to improve management of multiple myeloma and melanoma. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize markers of adverse risk in multiple myeloma. 2. Choose effective treatment regimens for the management of multiple myeloma based on genetic profiles. 3. Minimize potential for serious adverse effects associated with treatment of multiple myeloma. 4. Assess the efficacy of drugs used to treat melanoma. 5. Choose agents to treat node-positive melanoma that minimize risk for toxicity.
