Do you perform rapid on-site evaluation of aspiration material obtained via endoscopic ultrasound or percutaneous image-guided means? While aspiration and brushing cytology of the pancreas and extrahepatic biliary tree are relatively commonplace, aspiration of other sites within the gastrointestinal tract as well as aspiration of hepatic lesions is less common. In this webinar, we will review interesting cases from the gastrointestinal tract, pancreatobiliary tract, and liver. We will focus on challenging cases laden with diagnostic dilemmas, morphologic mimics, and potential pitfalls. Through a case-based approach, we will both review the cytomorphology of a bevy of rare and interesting lesions while also incorporating the most up-to-date details regarding their diagnosis and classification per the 2019 5th Edition of the WHO Classification of Digestive System Tumors.
