National HIV PrEP Curriculum: Identifying Candidates for HIV PrEP

This project will address the urgent need for professional education and training to create a well-informed health care workforce knowledgeable about HIV preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP). The curriculum will address this problem by enhancing the delivery of accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive information on HIV PrEP to health care providers who need this information. This approach will fulfill the two main outcomes: – Increase health professionals knowledge of the issues surrounding HIV PrEP including key populations and appropriate medications – Increase health professionals competence to conduct risk assessments, screen, identify, diagnose, counsel, and monitor those at risk for or with chronic HIV
