Breast cancer is the most common cancer (excluding skin cancer) that many women may face in their lifetime. This course covers breast cancer modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors and screening recommendations and provides an overview of the diagnostics, staging, and prognostic factors for localized, invasive, and metastatic breast cancer. The course provides an overview of treatment modalities and associated adverse events.
The goal of this course is to provide nurses and pharmacists with an update on breast cancer screening and treatment.
