This blended learning course trains approved instructor trainer candidates to teach the American Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support instructor course. All candidates must complete an application and gain approval from the Red Cross prior to registration for an Academy. As part of the application process all candidates must submit a current provider level (base-level) NALS: Comprehensive (or equivalent) certification and a NALS (or equivalent) instructor certification. It is important that all pre-course work be completed prior to attending the academy. For more information about the pre-course work, please review the information on the Red Cross Learning Center and in your Instructor Trainer acceptance letter.
