The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and management of vestibular migraine and persistent postural-perceptual dizziness, explore the potential for use of oncolytic viruses in the management of cholesteatoma, and improve the management of otosclerosis. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Distinguish among different causes of dizziness and vertigo.
2. Choose an appropriate treatment strategy for persistent postural-perceptual dizziness.
3. Assess data on the use of oncolytic viruses in the treatment of disease.
4. Select appropriate tests for the diagnosis of otosclerosis.
5. Counsel patients in the selection of a treatment strategy for osteosclerosis.
