In this presentation, the presenter will give an update on the newly approved drugs for 2023. The new therapies for the treatment of common chronic diseases and the pharmacology and clinical use of select drugs will be reviewed. Learning Objectives: Learners will analyze, identify, and define the indications for recently approved prescription medications. Learners will analyze and assess how the newly approved drugs interact with other drugs and what their place is in therapy. Learners will assess and apply new drugs and therapies to treat their patients with chronic diseases. Learners will explain key counseling points and side effects for each new medication.
