The New Mexico Infectious Disease Consult ECHO program is designed to help address the shortage of infectious disease clinicians in the state of New Mexico. This shortage causes backlogs in speciality service scheduling, lack of knowledge clinician care, and a large volume of calls to the patient access line in the state of New Mexico; specifically in rural areas.
