Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP ) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. The NRP is based on the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. The most recent guidelines were published in October 2020. NRP Provider courses are updated and improved based on input from learners, managers, subject matter experts and evaluation data from previous education activities.
