The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and manage ment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), use of devices in OSA, patient outcomes through knowledge of new technologies in OSA, and mitigation of risk in postoperative pain management. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Optimize use of research in OSA. 2. Explain the association between the pulse wave amplitude drop index and health outcomes in OSA. 3. Use hypoglossal nerve stimulation in OSA. 4. Employ photoplethysmography devices in OSA. 5. Compare ibuprofen and oxycodone in postoperative pain management.
