Tables are turned during Chiefs Rounds when residents present two mystery cases to the Service Chiefs and Attending Physicians. A wide spectrum of clinical problems and topics will be covered periodically including cornea and external disease, ocular infection, glaucoma, oculoplastic, orbit, trauma, retinal disease, ocular oncology, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and ocular surgery. The conferences are designed to review and augment attendees knowledge of clinical ophthalmology and foster skills in ophthalmologic differential diagnosis, the clinical and laboratory evaluation of ocular disease and cutting edge medical and surgical therapy. Principles of sound patient management and recent advances in ophthalmic general and subspecialty practice will be emphasized.
