The goal of this program is to improve documentation of patient encounters and treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Use effective strategies for de-escalation.
2. Incorporate language into documentation of patient encounter that improves patient engagement.
3. Recognize advantages of rTMS over electroconvulsive therapy.
4. Select appropriate patients for rTMS therapy.
5. Compare the efficacies of different types of rTMS therapy.
