The goal of this program is to improve management of pain with regional anesthesia and multimodal agents. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Choose medications for at-home pain management. 2. Select nerve blocks for patients undergoing shoulder surgery. 3. Relate anticoagulation status to selection of nerve blocks. 4. Anticipate adverse effects of drugs for multimodal analgesia. 5. Develop care plans for patients undergoing surgery with opioid use disorder.
