Optimizing Therapy for Low-risk MyelodysplasticSyndromes in Community Practice

Optimizing Therapy for Low-risk MyelodysplasticSyndromes in Community Practice

Recent progress in understanding the biology of MDS has led to practice-changing advances. To provide optimal patient care, community clinicians must be prepared with a comprehensive understanding of the appropriate diagnosis and risk stratification of patients with MDS and the clinical utility of agents that could significantly impact patient outcomes. They must be able to apply up-to-date evidence to tailor treatment plans to the individual patient. Hence, there is a significant unmet need for continuing education regarding new methods and strategies in LR-MDS treatment.
