3. Describe the effect that Oral Appliance Therapy has on the TM Joints of the patient who wears a Mandibular Advancement Device to manage their Sleep Related Disordered Breathing.
4. Differentiate between which patients would make good candidates for OAT and which ones would not.
5. Explain the importance of the nasal airway and the impact that alcohol and other respiratory depressant drugs can have on the unconscious airway.
