The goal of this program is to improve the management of primary angle-closure glaucoma, ophthalmologic outcomes through reduc tion of excess body weight, management of myodesopsia and severe ocular surface disease, and patient satisfaction with outcomes of cataract surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Treat primary angle-closure suspect, primary angle closure, and primary angle-closure glaucoma. 2. Develop strategies for discussing weight management with patients who have ocular conditions potentially related to excess body weight. 3. Cite benefits and risks of surgical management of symptomatic posterior vitreous detachment. 4. Select an optimal ocular stem cell transplantation procedure and postprocedural immunosuppression protocol for patients undergoing ocular surface reconstruction. 5. Counsel patients about options for and potential outcomes of cataract surgery
