The goal of this program is to improve the management of pain, agitation, and delirium, the implementation of medical ethics in the intensive care unit (ICU), management of second victim syndrome, and performance of retromuscular hernia surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to: 1. Implement guidelines and protocols to manage pain, agitation, and delirium. 2. Optimize discussion of palliative care for qualifying patients in the ICU. 3. Advocate for healthcare practitioners dealing with second victim syndrome. 4. List the advantages and disadvantages associated with dif ferent types of surgical techniques for hernia repair. 5. Select appropriate patients for different types of retromuscular techniques for hernia repair
