The goal of this program is to improve use of palatopharygngo plasty, management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and detec tion and management of hearing loss in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Evaluate various techniques in palatopharyngoplasty. 2. Recognize the key metrics used in the evaluation of OSA. 3. Describe the potential link between OSA and impairments in memory consolidation. 4. Recognize the importance of early language access in child development. 5. Assess the role of cochlear implants for individuals with severe to profound hearing differences
