The goal of this program is to improve implementation of home parenteral nutrition, use of laparoscopic gastric sleeve (LSG) for obesity in high-risk candidates, and endoscopic management of Barrett esophagus (BE). After hearing and assimilating this pro gram, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Choose patients who meet the criteria for home parenteral nutrition. 2. Explain the obesity paradox in kidney disease. 3. Compare weight loss using LSG vs Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. 4. List complications associated with the use of radiofrequency ablation in patients with BE. 5. Optimize use of endoscopic eradication therapies in patients with intramucosal adenocarcinoma in the setting of BE.
