This enduring education will highlight the key aspects from the virtual live held on March 13. It will feature a nurse practitioner recognized as an expert in managing type 2 inflammatory diseases and a patient living with multiple type 2 inflammatory diseases. In addition, this activity will include perspectives from a parent or caregiver. This program aims to help primary care clinicians recognize type 2 inflammatory diseases, understand the burden associated with these diseases, and provide patient-centered management of these diseases. As a result of this educational curriculum, learners should be better able to: 1. Describe how type 2 inflammation contributes to the pathophysiology of chronic type 2 inflammatory diseases; 2. Explain the rationale for prompt recognition of patients with multiple type 2 inflammatory comorbidities; 3. Discuss treatment considerations for patients with multiple type 2 inflammatory diseases; and, 4. Outline strategies for maximizing patient engagement and empowerment to improve outcomes in type 2 inflammatory diseases
