The goal of this program is to improve patient satisfaction following total knee arthroplasty management of spinal and sacral fractures. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Identify factors associated with satisfaction after total knee arthroplasty.
2. Perform a diagnostic evaluation to assess the reason for patient dissatisfaction after total knee arthroplasty.
3. Utilize classification systems to guide the decision for surgical management of traumatic spinal and sacral fractures.
4. Define the strengths and limitations of commonly used classification systems used to guide surgical management of spinal fractures.
5. Summarize the advantages and limitations of posterior and anterior approaches for spinal trauma surgery.
