The goal of this program is to improve techniques for measurement of patient satisfaction, use of health care service lines for sedation, and management of pediatric patients undergoing sedation. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Adopt metrics to track patient satisfaction. 2. Implement service lines to improve patient care. 3. Optimize scheduling and screening of patients. 4. Identify factors which increase the risk for laryngospasm in pediatric procedural sedation. 5. Compare and contrast the use of ketamine-dexmedetomidine and ketamine-propofol for sedation of pediatric patients.
