PCSS-MOUD Exchange 4-Session Roadmap, Session 3 - Implement/Sustain (Feb, 2025)

The PCSS-MOUD (PCSSMOUD-X) Exchange is a four-session course focused on the implementation of prescribing medications for treating opioid use disorder (MOUD) in a variety of healthcare settings. Prescribers with frontline experience prescribing MOUD and developing clinic workflows will be available during all four sessions to answer participants questions and discuss real-world cases. PCSSMOUD-X is intended for an interprofessional audience, and participants are welcome to attend whichever sessions are most relevant to their current situation. In Session 3, we will review considerations for MOUD initiation and follow-up, including lab guidelines, and clinical management of patients with continued use (e.g., fentanyl, novel synthetic opioids), overdose risk, poly-substance use, and comorbid mental health conditions.
